I was just getting over a lousy day of fishing when I decided to give up and row back to my boat storage area in the NYC res when I tossed my spinner bait into the water and began to row home. I get a call from the old lady I noticed my line was taut, on the end was an awesome largemouth about 8lbs, the biggest I ever got at this res. Proceeding on my way, I also hookup to a nice size chain pickerel.. Trolling is going to be my new way of fishing...

Good exercise too! A couple years back I caught a 6+ pounder in Croton on Easter on a Mepps spinner. Old school and I was stunned. Congrats on your biggin'

Likewise! I noticed that in my case, it turns out to catch only when I am busy with something else, either an important conversation, or another matter!
