Since I purchased my Honda outboards...I've had nothing but problems with support from my Honda dealer. They have sold me the wrong parts, installed the wrong size gaskets, ordering parts that don't fit my outboards.

The mechanics that have worked on my outboards... have had to cut off bolts (my first year) and then told me that warranty would not cover it. They installed the wrong gaskets in my lower unit...and the oil drained out over night...but luckily I found it before getting on the water.

I'm now having electrical problems but they have not been trained or have the proper equipment for checking things out (CDI Unit).

Whenever I have asked other dealers around the country...it's been pretty much the same.

When I have attempted to contact the main office in Atlanta, GA...I get put on hold...as there is no one there that wishes to listen or gives a hoot!

Where is there a dealer that can actually help and order parts and hope to receive them before my boating season is over.

Are there others that have the same problems with their Honda Outboards that I have had?

Are the engines so poorly designed...or is it that the servicing/support makes them seem like they are an inferior to all others?

Like all the rest of you out there...I depend on my outboards to get me out of some tight situations..if I pull and toss these outboards...what brand should I buy...because without support...a product is nothing!
