ANYONE WATCHING THE NEWS THIS MORNING .
THERE IS A BOAT BURNING IN WHEEHAWKEN AND NOW THE ONE NEXT TO IT IS CATCHING ON FIRE TOO.

It was just on CBS. There are two on fire. Not sure what is going on but it was probably a heater induced fire. There are folks living aboard or leaving them in there.

So far so good, Jon. We are waiting out the Whale Cay passage. With all the unsettled weather (cold fronts) coming through it could be a while.

Very sorry to hear that, I thought they were saying no one on board this morning on the news. It looked like the fire boat had it under controll at first but then a few minutes later you could see the fiberglass was burning so fast and hot it was spreading to the boat next to it.
I feel so bad for that person ,my heart goes out to them and thier family.

If you look at those threads, the one that claims a death is posted earlier than the ones denying a fatality.

My undersatnding is there are no fatalities.

There seems to be conflicting reports. One report said they found a body. Apparently, A Doctor lives on the boat but he had already gone to work. There are several live aboards at that marina, many on old boats that never leave the slip.
