How do I fog 5.7 Merc MPI engine?

I have seen it done 3 ways on my old mercs.
1) Put Marvel Mystery oil in gas filter
2) Spray fogging oil down throttle body. Even though there is no carb it still gets in there.
3) Make this mixture up that merc recommends on their site and feed it in. Requires disconnecting fuel hose and feeding in the mixture from a seperate tank. (never did this on my mercs)
#2 is easiest and seems to work!

#2 is easiest and seems to work!
I put 1 qt of 2 cycle oil in a 3 gal portable gas tank. I also add Startron fuel additive.I fill the container with 2-1/2 gals of high test. I disconnect the main fuel tank line just before the fuel pump. I hook-up the portable tank to the fuel pump intake side, start the engines, and let it almost empty the tank. Been doing it for 8 years and never had a problem.
