Last fall I followed George's procedures and ran AF through the FWC 496 Mag Bravo 3.
Yesterday I hooked up the muffs, gave full pressure on the garden hose, and waited a LONG time (maybe 5 minutes) for the water to discharge. It was preceeded by lots of steam. I seem to remember it taking a long time in previous years, but yesterday was nerve-wracking. When I got to the lake and launched, everything was fine and it ran for hours about 10 degrees cooler than normal. The water temperature, however, was 44 degrees F.
Why did it take so long to run through? Shouldn't the AF still have been in the system? Its not like I drained the block!
