I am planning a trip up the hudson river this weekend (Weather Permitting.) I am in a 25 Foot Crownline 250CR. I am wondering where I should stop along the way. I hope planning to stay out two nights. I have never been above the tip of manhatten (Spuytun Duval) on the hudson. I will start from the western long island sound in City Island. Its basically about an hour trip from there to the hudson on the nothern tip of manhatten. From there is where I need some help. I am wondering what Marinas along the way I can stay at and where i can reasonably expect to reach if I travel during the day and stay at a marina for the night. I think I would like to spend one night in the Haverstraw / Tarrytown area. So, I am hoping to get some advice on where I could stay in that area (and where I could expect to find a spot being that its a holiday weekend.)
