Hudson River Trip

Yes, we should be there on Aug 30, probably later in the day as we'll be coming down from Lake George (on the trailer)...

Too bad you couldn't stay up there Sunday night also, because that's when we have the big "Christmas" boat parade up and down the Rondout. Its quite a sight to see - some people even decorate their houses on shore!!!

LOL, Bruce it wouldn't be too convenient to hold a boat parade on the Rondout at that time, so we move it up a few months. Its very interesting trying to pilot a boat lit up like Clark Griswold's house...
 
I saw that by chance one year it was quite a sight all right first time I ever saw anything like that , it was neat.

I wish I was at the bar , just another wild & crazy night sittin home watching re-runs on tv and messing with the comp. Well at least I had a few cold ones & the pup I am pup sittin this weekend,(I miss having a dog) to keep me company, didn't help getting up at 5:30 for work this mornimg thats for sure :)

Looks like btoran has a nice little trip plannd- have fun enjoying this neck of the woods- I mean river :)

finally gonna be able to get the boat & bring her down late sunday night after the traffics long gone, a quick going over pop in a new gimble berring whip the out drive on and i should be good to go !... Jon F
 
WELL I AM FINALLY OUTA HEAR AND DOING THE MIDNIGHT RIDER TO GO GET THE BOAT NOW !! Ahhh my turn at last, plan to be back in 24hrs or so... sure hope the puppy i'm watching doesn't get car sick, cause i already found out he is far from house-broken thus far.(CUTE LITTLE LAB NAMMED MAGIC - GONNA HATE TO GIVE HIM BACK.) :( How many would I get for dog napping HOGAN ?

al - we're still planning our trip per the itinerary above and hoping to see you. weather and other things permitting, let's plan on dinner at haverstraw around 6pm on thursday, aug 28th. do i need to make reservations? we don't have email on the boat, so we'll call your cell phone on the 28th to confirm or if plans change.
