Yup. looks like nearly the same path of the 1938 hurricane. New England's worst. That was a Cat 3 that nobody was prepared for. They got blind-sided without the modern weather forecasts.

Well I was going to pull my little boat, but watching the Windy app (much more accurate than the lamestream media fear mongers) I saw it was supposed to past slightly east of Montauk, which is exactly what happened. We were lucky it was a non-event.
