Hydraulic leak at the helm

On our SR 2001 340DA I have a leak in my hydraulic helm. We removed it and inspected. Thought it may be from the connections. It is the heavy pump with 4 hose connections. We cleaned the connections, wrapped them with Teflon tape and reinstalled. It is still leaking. What can the problem be? Thanks Vince

Check the seals on the helm (pump) ?

Its the pump seals... they have to be rebuilt / replaced.
