I Want to Replacing OEM TV/VCR Unit

I can't find a search button for this topic, but I'm sure it's been discussed b4. Mine is a 2000 SD and it has the OEM TV/VCR combo. I want to replace this unit with a DVD based system. The TV/VCR unit is out. I have a TV/DVD combo available to install. I need info on how to make the TV electronics work. Thanks.
