After spending a week aboard with 5 people, it is clear that I need a larger holding tank. I have a single head and a holding tank that is approx. 40 gals.
Should I remove the 40 gal tank and replace it with a 100 gal (assuming it will fit down the hatch), or should I add another tank?
It would be easier to get an additional smaller tank down the hatch than a 100 gal tank, but how would I plumb it? I think that I would need to add a Y-value between the head and the two tanks and another Y value between the two tanks and the pump out.
Instead of adding more Y values, could I join the two tanks together with a single pipe and keep my current pump out setup?
