Does anyone know what brand the helm gauges are for a 1997 Sedan Bridge? ie, oil pressure, eng temperature, tachometers, etc.?
Will any brand gauge work as long as it fits into the original gauge opening?

I just replaced the gauges in my '93 300 Weekender with Teleflex gauges that I bought from BoatFix. Work perfect. The only thing I had to do was file the holes a little larger.

On my 1995 370DA...........they are labeled " SR "

I just recently picked up a new set of tach's ( just incase )...on eBay

The gauges on mine were also labeled SR but are no longer available from Sea Ray. I also paid about $20. each from BoatFix for them and Sea Ray if available were $65. each.

What look are you going for. Most gauges are close in diameter and as Bill said, some may require a bit of filing. When I have to replace my tach's, I am going to look at the digitals. I was on a boat last week and the captain synched the engines by the tachs. Incredible.

We had to have a tach replaced on our prior Sea Ray, a 1995 330DA. When the shop called I remember him saying do you want a Sea Ray tach or a non Sea Ray tach. The Sea Ray tach if I recall correctly was about $150 more...we bought it so the two would match. Shop thought the diff in price was ridiculous...so did we.

the temp and oil pressure gauges need the correct senders. Certainly SR did not make the gauges so one of the major brands is what you need. If you pull one you may see some makers info on the back.

Go to SeaRay's website and they have all the detailed parts list for every year boat as well as other related manuals in a printable format.

I called Teleflex and they informed me that they were the OEM supplier for those "SR" instruments. I told them the year (1992), model number (370DB) and engines (twin cummins 6bta 5.9L) for my boat and they put together a complete list of part numbers for me. It was so easy, I wired them all myself. The only gauge they didn't make anymore was the enormous sync dial in the middle. I had new panels laser cut and installed them in under 20 minutes.

The only regret: I didn't spring for the "sealed" gauges and now get fogged up occassionaly.
