Is fogging an MPI engine necessary?

Samuel - that's a good video, but the only issue that I would have with it is that he doesn't address the cooling system. If raw-water cooled, you would have just pumped straight water into your engine which would then be subject to freezing and potentially cracking the heads and/or block.

if you are going to fog as done on the video, you'd have to open up all the drain plugs and back fill with antifreeze. I don't normally fog for short 3-4 month layups. This year though with my 6 month deployment, I'm fogging. Also going to discard all the fuel in the tanks so I don't have 100 gallons of bad ethanol gas in my tanks when I get back.
