The hose that is. 50 feet of hose, only had about 4 foot of scraps left over. Increased the size of the vent hose to 1 inch and put in a new vent. Drilled a new hole in my deck on Saturday and put in a pump out fitting too. Deck was balsa cored, so instead of driving home I went & bought a new batch of CPES and made sure the exposed core was well sealed. Boat had a TDX treatment system before, and lived the last 28 years without a deck pumpout. Took awhile to get the deck plate in given the core concerns, then had to drill another hole in a bulkhead and feed that !#!$rb2@gr5t hose inch by inch. New Seals in the vacuflush pumps and ball seals in the heads.
I now have, drum roll please, a two thousand dollar 15 gallon holding tank. But, at least now I don't have to walk all the way up the dock just to pee. Next phase of the project is figuring out the best way to fish all the wires so I can actually activate the treatment side of the system (holdntreat).
So, with that I just wanted to breathe a large sigh of relief. No more hose. Wiring I can deal with.
<SIGH>
