I think the deal that got Buzz into trouble was the number of times a pair of boats would pull in at 3:30PM in bad weather and the marina would be 50% full and the two boats would ask for two slips side to side by a grill and he would say, I don't have any side by side The rest are reserved. We would all looking at 30 empty slips. One boat would go on the back and the other would go on the outside....the "open slips." It would stay that way for three days. Then there was the way he would chew out customers who bought fuel for 25 cents a gallon less at the city marina and then try to rent a slip at Jacobsons. Not making this stuff up. As the airlines say, Thanks for flying with us, we know you have choice.
