A couple years ago a buddy of mine and I decided to see how far up the Sacramento we could go in my 24ft Trophy. We ran aground a couple times and once had to get out of the boat on a sand bar and push off. Lots of fun and a great trip. We ended up in Knights Landing. We tied up to a dock, walked up a hill and found a very interesting watering hole called Stingrayz Marina. This last weekend my brother and I were on the asphalt sloughs and drove up there again and had a beer at this place. It is very entertaining and friendly and very eclectic. Odd decoratons everhwhere including old boat parts and vintage outboard motors. Might be a fun cruise for some of you but watch the depthfinder.
