Labor Day Plans?

We're off to Great Sacandaga Lake in the scenic and historic Northville NY. Clam bake, Walleye fishing, ring of fire...But I'll see you all monday

fwaaaaaaaaaaa!

I've got a five day weekend coming up - taking off tomorrow AND Tuesday!

I just calculated that we have already stayed on the boat 66 nights so far this summer

That's good Mike.

I spent the entire month of August on my boat except for 4 days. 3 weeks straight in July before that. Doesn't include all of the weekends before my summer trip.

Almost a live aboard for me.

3 FOR ME!

I'm catching up...
Without air conditioning, it gets a tad hot in the cabin,

Well, I've been off all week, stayed home one night so far. Yesterday we took a friend's boat to the city and then a train uptown to the Bronx. It was a long way to get there but while sitting in the baking sun watching the Yankees crush the sox, it was comforting knowing the boat was waiting with a cooler full of beer! What an all-around great day!

Looks like rain today but we're sleeping on the boat anyway (promised our nephew he could stay with us) then we're headed out on Sunday, land lubbing tomorrow.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Wow, you guys really spend a lot of nights on the boat, I think I'm up to 20 so far. One thing that keeps our total lower though is with the boat docked in the backyard we don't sleep on the boat unless we're out somewhere. Still some more overnights to go this season though!

Jonathan, good to see you the other night. I think if the weather cooperates and they have a spot for me I may bring my boat over within the next 3 weeks to spend a few nights.

We got out to Bowline on Saturday afternoon and had a good party over there. Lots of boats in there as well.

We made it out to Bowline Saturday afternoon and couldn't believe the number of boats rafted up in there. It must have been some party. We stayed for a few hours and headed home, it was a busy weekend.

Well we had another "Typical" Bowline weekend.. Tons of boats in there all weekend and three big raft-ups (10 to 19 boats) all of which broke loose a few times. Is there any way to get some moorings put in Bowline. If the town of Haverstraw put 25 to 30 mooring in and charged for permits, I am sure there are a bunch of people willing to pay a few buck a season for a safe anchorage.
