Lectrasan above level of head output?

I just purchased a used Lectrasan for the forward head on my 1986 Carver aft cabin.I haven't called Lectrasan yet, just thought I'd ask the forum has anyone install a Lectra about 12" above the head outlet. If I can do this it will make the install much easier.

the Lectra/san has no pump, and is dependent upon the toilet to pump into it, through it, and out. If the head has that capability, you should be OK.
