Hi,

I want to replace the bridge canvas on my Carver 3607 & I'd like it to match the aft deck.

Any recommendations? I'm in the Pittsburg Marina.

The previous owner had an estimate of around $3200 ... I have no idea if that is reasonable or not.

Thanks,

I'd give Curt at West Coast Canvas a call. He has offices at Tower Park and at Discovery Bay.

Most of Curt's people are very talented (but not all). I agree with Dave's recommendations but be certain that you obtain a committment from Curt that he is reponsible for all fibergalss mistakes that he makes (posts or tabs pulling out of the fiberglass). And, you and he inspect the project when finished by having him remove and replace all of the cnavas.

A friend of mine just had complete screens made for his entire 2003 Sea Ray done by Curt. The quality of the finished product was excellent. However, even though business was slow by Curt's own admission, delivery was 3 weeks later then Curt had promised. Just be aware he works on "Delta Time" and allow for that.

There is a canvas shop over near Lauritzen's in Antioch. Has anyone used them? I believe they do alot of work for Bayliner there.
