Sounds like it was repowered. I believe the original set up was Merc 330 > Borg Warner 1:1 tranny then to a TR (not TRS) outdrive. If it was repowered with a new B3 outdrive, did they use a jack shaft or did they relocate the engine aft? If they relocated, then the balance of the boat will be affected,(probably in a negative way).
