Maine for Labor Day?

Although not as warm as Block Island this time of year, is anyone wandering around southern Maine this weekend? Casco Bay? Kennebunkport?

wish we were - we can't get into K'port so will take advantage of the relatively warm weather and do our first oystering![^]

have reservations for next weekend at K'port, though!

we still have a trip to Hawthorne planned, anyone been there?
 
I'll be staying in the Lake Region this weekend. But visited the in-laws in Biddeford 2 weeks ago. In case you were wondering, my son and I were the idiots racing the SeaDoo between Goose Rocks and Fortunes Rocks.

Never thought I'd feel comfortable out there on the ski but the water was warmer than I ever remember it being out there. I was actually able to swim for over 20 mins without discomfort! Can't imagine being out there on a jet ski any other time though. Wouldn't want to think about being stuck in the water for an extended period of time.
