Marina Recommendations

Looking for some marinas in the CT river area.
Been to Essex and Mystic.
Anyone ever been to Westbrook or Clinton?
Any decent marinas and things to do in this area?

Pilots Point in Westbrook is a Brewers Marina Dave and it is fantastic. Very nice place with a good restaurant and while it is a walk based upon where you are docked you can walk to a clam shack, ice cream stand in town and a few other places. You can even dink to the clam shack. Have been there several times and have not been disappointed.

Pilot's Point is excellent. Clinton is OK. We stayed at Brewer Bruce & Johnson in July. Beautiful marina, great restaurant, beautiful pool.

You can dink up the river to the Lobster shack and get the best lobster roll you will ever have. Right across from the Lobster shack is a very good brewery.

Saybrook Point Marina is very nice, but depending on wind direction, it can get fairly rocky.

We stayed at pilot point - nice docks - nice place.
Ate at Boom in the marina and Bills (short walk)
Friend came with a car and took us thru town.

I like Pilot's point and a possible retirement gig. Nice homes on beach with nice marina a short walk.

I have to say, Brewers seems to have some good deals as you get reciprical dockages at other Brewer's. May have to dig into some of their programs.

Next weekend we are at Saybrook - I heard it can get rocky. No issue.
Essex was rocky too but calmed down at night.
