Can someone recommend a marina in Key Biscayne and one in Ft Lauderdale (near Las Olas would be great) i am cruising down thanksgiving week
Thanks Jeff

no marina in Key Biscayne, excpet the KBYC which offers reciprocial privileges to other YC

Crandon MArina is between miami and KB, but you'd be stuck there, must have a car

Dinner Key in coconut grove, Miami Beach or Sealine (the old mariott... whatever it's called these days) are your best bet.

if you jsut want to enjoy the beach on Key biscayne, then you can just anchor in No Name Harbor, by Cape Florida, it's a state park. no power, or anything but it's a real nice park and within walking distance of the village (shops, restaurants, etc...) nice stop over, good beach, nice trails, good holding.

In Fort Lauderdale, the Las Olas Municipal Marina is a good bet. Next to that is the Bahia Mar Marina which is a little pricier. Both have excellent amenities.

bahia mar is a 40ft minimum. i will check out las olas, thanks

Check Marina Bay. Lots of amenities. Price is good (no minimum). It's on the new river.
perfect for short transient boats.
Only problem, it's about an hour from Port Everglades.

It was fun staying in Las Olas. I stayed right on the riverwalk. It was a nice trip from merritt Island. Mostly ICW but we went out Port Everglades and came back in Jupiter. It was a nice day and that outlet was pretty wild. I would hate to do that on a windy day.
Thanks for the info.
