As usual, with limited clear information, I'm at a loss.
I am replacing my engine and upgrading the exhaust to 4". My problem is finding out what is needed to do this correctly.
My old 3" exhaust looks like this:
The new 4" is similar to this:
I know I have to replace the 3" to 4" adaptor hose to a 4"x4" Hose, but is there anything else required?
I see the old manifold is approx. 9" front to rear and the new one is 12".
Looks like things are going to get tight.
Is that 3" extension just going to float inside the hoes and elbow?[:-boggled]
