Removed old compass from upper station,oops, dropped it down to lower cockpit deck.
Came down ladder and took one step on deck,bump,bump,bump, I was on my A$$.[:-scared] What just happened. Pick myself up and shook it off, no damage done.
Now what, there is a big Rainbow sheen on the water surface around the boat, Dont tell me I have a fuel leak. Opened all hatches and engine compartment,sniffed around for smell of fuel, No smell anywhere but sheen on water spreading.I know you boaters will guess what is going on.(at 75, I can still laugh at my stupidity)

Oil filled or glycerine filled compass spewed its guts out into the water. Both fluids lighter than water, float on top of water and cause sheen.
