Would be fun to meet your follow ROs for a fun lunch. We are looking at The Capital Grill in Providence RI on Friday, October 16th.

Wonder if Pascal will be in the area?? Les ~ ??

Duck? Prospective? ITK? Come witness the wonder on my face as I experience indoor plumbing and incandescent lighting for the first time! And Capitol Grill steak. Besides, I've seen the photo in Spike's old avatar - and I'm a little afraid to meet up with him alone.
Who else is in? Friday - Oct 16. Take a long lunch break!

I can`t make Providence.... I will be stopping at the Black Seal in Essex tomorrow tho....
 
Great idea, but I won't be abel to make. Dmaned merger is making me work all the time :) I haven't even seen my boat for two weeks and when I do it will be to pull it.
 
Lost Mom last week, but I will be there if still on.

Way to go Pro! See ya there. Last call for seating assignments - and you know if you're not there, we're just gonna be talking about you! (BTW, lame excuse, Duck! Bring the clothes with you - we'll take them down to the river, bash them against the rocks and they'll be squeeky clean in no time. No carbon footprint.)
 
Hey Folks, as I feared, worked has intruded. I'm not going to be able to make it today. Looks like a cold sandwich at the desk. Hope you guys have a good lunch.
 
I'm pleased to report that 100% of the BE members Spike and I expected to appear at our first unofficial viral NECC lunch safari did, in fact appear at the Capitol Grill in Providence this past Friday. The Rhode Island congingent attended to the extent that we expected as did members from the surrounding states in the New England area. In the near future, I believe that Spike will be posting photographic evidence of the two of us serving up complimentary refreshments to all members who could provide proof of being anchored. Due to the success of this event, there's a good possibility that similar gatherings will be scheduled at various locations throughout the Northeast during the boating and non-boating season. Stay tuned for further details.
 
One thing for sure, there was less Scotch and Grey Goose at the Grill when we left. A great afternoon! We had the Maine and Connecticut ROs represented anyway.
