I have an electric head of uncertain age and cannot find any markings that would identify the maker. The duckbill is just about gone so it appears it is time for a recondition job. If anyone can help identify what I have got I would appreciate it. Then I can order the refurb kit from Boatfix if they have it.

It's a Raritan Crown Head, however you're going to have to remove the two-part lower cover and get the model number off of the motor. It could be on a brass nameplate on the rear of the motor, or it could be on a white label on top of the motor. There are (3) different versions of the Crown Head, and each version has its own unique repair kit.

I can see that the intake pump on the rear of it has been replaced at some point in the past, but the pumps all look alike, so that isn't enough info to identify the particular model.

Vic I think the duckbill needs replacing. Are they different for each model? I think the local West Marine has the duckbills in stock.

The duckbill is Raritan part # C253. The same on is used in several (but not all) of the Raritan heads.

Thanks for all the help. I might be able to fix the head this weekend.
