Need recommendation for Biz lunch meeting in Providence or a little south near 95

I need to meet someone in Providence for a lunch meeting for a couple of hours. He's coming in from Seattle and I'm from NY so we know nothing about the city.

It would be a week day & after I'm heading back to New London to grab the ferry & he will be heading up to Marlborough, Ma.

Is he going to be there already or is he flying in to Green?

Dan

Capitol Grill, downtown, parking right there, just off I95 and Route 6. Steaks aren't bad either.

Capital Grill is excellent for a business lunch. Have the poached salmon. My fav for lunch is Hemminway's. Oysters and seafood from the bay. Quite impressive. Pappaquash and Blue Point oysters etc. Sit at the bar overlooking the place. Easy access from TF and 95. Also there's a good Ruth Chris Steak House as a fall back right in Providence....nice business walk on the river.... avec cigar post lunch. Another spot close to TF is Legal Seafood right on Rt 1. All great stuff! Spike.

Thanks guys
He flew into Martha’s Vineyard last week, I think via DC and he’s taking the ferry to Woods Hole then driving to Marlborough. I figure that Providence is not much out of his way. I’ve been to The Capital Grill in Chicago many years ago and if it’s still the same should be a good choice
Thanks

They're pretty much the same. The bar area in Providence has grouping areas that work well for meetings plus the main dining room works well for that too. Also, the ramp to 95 both north and south is right there. Bon appitite! Spike and I will come join you and help out! Or not. Good luck.

Excellent. Pricey if you go for dinner, reasonable for lunch.

We should have a BE New England raft-up there some weekday lunchtime!

So far, everyone works for me with the 16th being the best. Anyone else? Maybe we could coerce Les into coming down and he could buy!

Any RO's interested in a Providence Capital Grill lunch on Friday, Oct 16?
