Need to be winterized till when?

Hi - I am bringing a boat to Rockland County from a warmer climate where it was NOT winterized.

Is there any rule as to when it would be okay to bring it up? Say March 15?

BTW - It's got a Merc 350 Mag with Bravo 3.

No hard and fast rule as it really depends on the weather. This winter has been below normal temperature wise and March 15 might be too early. Mid to late April would be a safer bet IMO.
 
I agree, March 15th is too early. I've had ice on my canal on Long Island in mid March and it's usually warmer here than north of the city.
 
One never knows. A good hard freeze that lasts a couple of days is all it takes. If you are not in the water (launched) you are more susceptible to damage as a result. We always launched in April, sometimes at the end of March when we were in Kingston NY. Certainly a bit more cool up there compared but then look at how it is snowing to the South of there this year!
