Looking forward to the new dock at Ego Alley. They are adding more slips. Some of these slips will be wider. It has been hard to get a spot "on the wall"-- and the old public slips did not allow for beams over 14'.

Although there will be more slips, more people will come-- so I wonder if it will be easier to get a spot-- or if I'll just see more boats in slips (and still no room for me). With ego alley it has always been come early or lose. Or "get lucky" and be there when someone leaves.

Annapolis is a fun overnight. It is a good place for people watching while docked at ego alley.
I get a kick out of watching people admiring my boat!

I'm not trying to wish my life away... but "Come on Spring." I need a boat ride.

Merry Christmas

Boy, I hope the Naval Academy dink docks survive!

While I'm sure the local shopkeepers depend on that parking lot, the rain gardens addition will certainly be an improvement. Thanks for posting!!

Tom: Fawcetts' is filing for bankruptcy, and maybe we could get that space they have behind their store as a Boatered Slip "member only " area. They aren't closing but re-structuring.

Dusty-

That would be nice.

I have not seen the plans for the new city dock. I have only found the artist rendering, but nothing showing the slip layout and sizes.

See you at Podickory Point Marina. Nice marina. Great location. I really like Charlie (the mgr).

We hope to make some of the BoaterEd raft-ups this year. Sometimes it is hard (kids are 5, 3, and 7 months). Always something going on with us.

We do get around the Bay. Last year we hit everything from Chesapeake Beach to Chesapeake City. We even went through the C&D Canal and out into the DE Bay.

Favorite place is Fairley Creek.

Look forward to meeting you.

Merry Christmas
