Greetings all. I'm a newbie on this site... been reading tons of posts over the past week, but this is my first post.
I'm in the market for a starter boat. I've been looking at a Renken 209 M5 CC (see link below). I want something under 2,500 lbs, with a cuddy so my 2yr old daughter and wife can get out of the sun, a boat for fresh and salt water, a boat suitable for fishing. My budget is $4000-$4500.

I can't find many reviews/articles on the net for this particular mfg and model. I have looked at used boat values and feel the list price is "fair" but certainly not a steal.
I hope to take the boat out for a test this Thursday (4/6). Is there anything in particular I should look for?
