I have a friend bringing his boat up and would like to stop for the night in Newburgh or thereabouts. Front St Marina isn't answering their phone and the number I have for Newburgh Yacht Club is disconnected. Anyone got an idea where he can put in for the night?

Torches usually doesn't have their docks in this early in the season.
 
If he comes up just a little further he can overnight at White's and he will be in protected waters. It would be much calmer than Newburgh. The # is 845-297-8520
 
Also, if overnighting in Newburgh, avoid the temptation to walk up the hill and look at the view overlooking the Hudson. Not a great area safety wise.
 
Rommer, if you walk up the hill on the road the first building on the left is Police Headquarters. Now if you are determined to keep walking rather than turning around and enjoying the view, I wish you well!
 
I heard a rumor the cops only go down hill.
