I stopped by the Stony Point Bay Marina while visiting my Dad. I grew up on the other side of the tracks (pun intended). Starry night it was great to meet you.

I certainly do not miss the humidity back there. UT is hot but as they say, its a dry heat.

I did get nipped (pretty hard) by someone's dog while leaving the dock. The dog was on a lease and I all happened pretty fast. I did not want to make a big deal about it. I still have the bite marks and still a little sore but it going to fine.

And here I thought we finally got Bob trained not to bite any more! :)

(J/K, Bob hasn't bit anybody in years!)

Who's dog bit you? where you on a dock or on the shore? Some of the dogs scare the crap out of my wife she hates most big dogs she was bit as a kid.

David,

I am not sure whose dog it was. I was on the narrow dock heading toward shore when I past the owner and his dog when the dog decided he wanted a piece of me. The dog was on a lease and appeared to be pit bull mix but I am generally not afraid of dogs. My wife howvever is very wary of dogs too. It happened so fast and it actual began to hurt more as time went on.

I am sorry I did get the chance to meet you but it was a real pleasure speaking with Bob. Do you have the same boat as him?

cjeccher Yes I have an older version of the same boat I'm very happy with it.

As for meeting you it would have been nice but I was away from the marina most of the weekend playing and having fun, maybe next time.

CJ,
It was nice to meet you as well. I hope you enjoyed your time back on the east coast. Sorry to hear you were bit by a dog. We were talking about it this past weekend. We are still trying to figure out who's dog it was. Hope you are feeling ok. Have fun on Lake Powell.

I have not been happy about a few of the dogs there but this is the first I'm hearing of someone actually being bit.
