Noisier Vacu Flush Pump

Going on my 11th season with this unit. This year when I started it up, the pump was noisier than it has been. It's still OK. Reaches vacuum the same amount of time. It also holds vacuum the whole week while we're gone from the boat. Should I just ignore it or is something internally going south on the vacuum generator?

Look and see if anything has come loose at or on the pump. Or perhaps the shaft bearing needs a bit of lube. If it bothers you, maybe it's time to replace it with one of the new whisper pumps SeaLand has. They are very quiet.
