North Palm Beach

I was looking at Condos in SE Florida. I've come across a lot of condos in North Palm Beach east of US One along some canals. Some of the streets are Doolen Ct., Shore Ct. and Wettaw Ln. along with other streets along canals in that general area. The prices were good. Does anyone have an opinion of this area? What's the area like that you have to drive through to get to this area? Thanks

Use google maps streetview. Run from I-95 to Federal Hwy along Northlake Blvd. I think that Google Earth has more detail than google's website.

It all depends on your expectation. I live and work in Palm City, FL. It is "small town" compared to the area you are looking at. That area has more people and "issues" that come from that. It's not an area that I would be interested in, but it could be fine for you. Riviera Beach, just to the south, is a bit rough.

That said, it has docks that are close to the Lake Worth inlet and beautiful clear water. I don't know what size boat you have nor do I know anything about the docks (depth? length restrictions?). I have been on a boat that was docked in the canal that goes under Federal Hwy, and the owner said that there is a 1-2 kt current that complicates docking.
