greetings all. this summer, my wife and i would like to travel from western long island, around manhattan, up the hudson river to lake champlain. we'll stay in a cabin on the lake for a week then come back. we've got a 1993 fourwinns 265 vista that likes to cruise at about 23 mph. i've already read chris brown's book on cruising the ny waterways to lake champlain but i'm trying to figure out approx which towns we should lay up in each night on the way up and back. we're not trying for the speediest trip but don't want to spend an extra day traveling there or back. thanks.
