Vic, you seem to be the guy to ask. Bought an '01 24' last summer with 19 hours on the engine, and not sure if the head was ever used. Boat has an slight odor that we have been trying to track down. Does not at all smell like sewer, but more like a chemical smell. Is it possible that with even limited hours that holding tank or winterizing chemicals may have permeated the sanitation hose as the boat sat for nearly 3 years?
Smell seems to have gotten better as we have used the boat and had the cabin open more. Thinking of replacing the hose this spring anyway.
