FYI fuel capacity on the 440s was increased in 1995 that may contribute to a weight change and or dry or wet on the figures...
They list my boat around 18500 lbs but the carver 405 which is no longer than mine and has a little more aft deck is 27108. Where did it pick up 9,000 pounds?
People look at 26,000 or 28,000 pounds as shown on some recent yachtworld listings and figure my boat should fly. then you actually weight the beast and find another 10,000 pounds have mysteriously appeared.
28 MPh equals 24 Kts. I get about 23 or so and since conditions are never perfect, so MPh is probably correct, Carver being a midwest company and all.
Fuel tanks are actually labeled by the tank maker at 230 IIRC Water tank has no label I can find.
