just got this boat, its an 1989 bayliner capri 1950 has the 4cl 3.0 anyway runs and drives great, but i was looking on the right side if your standing at the back of the boat there is a 2 inch crack in the upper unit, side cover, now is there oil or gears in there ,that are getting wet and not supposed to be ,or is this just a cover plate! please let me know what i should do if you can help me!
