i just purchased a boat with a hardtop that has lee sidewinder outriggers on the top. on the outide of each outrigger is a small "poleholder"installed down thru the roof,[on an angle outward] also in the middle of the top at the rear is a small "poleholder" protruding up thru the roof.[on a rearward angle] i am assuming that these extra "poleholders are for rigging the fishing lines to the outriggers but i have no idea how,or what type "poles" to use on the outside and center rear holders. also the diameter of these extra holders are a lot smaller then a regular poleholder. could the center rear holder be for a center fishing line ?

I use a center 'stinger' using a regular fishing rod that can be let out quite far mainly because it sits in such a high position. I don't even know how common it is to use, it's just something we do.
I use the pole holders on the top of the cabin not rigged to the outriggers as they are aimed on a 'spread' to run at different distances than the gunnel mounted poles. We have used up to 13 rods for albacore to make a big disturbance on the surface to bring them up.

could be a center rigger for NE trolling for tuna
