I have seen a few boatered members from Stuart/Palm City and would like to know what you think of the area. We just signed a contract to build a new home in Palm City as we feel it is time to get out of Broward County. I have been in south Florida since 1985 and have seen many changes and we have many reasons for leaving but the last straw was having our house broken into for the second time in 4 years. This time they went for electronics as they stole many items including my HD flat panel TV and the worst was they actually stole my computer, with over 5,000 pictures, videos and not to mention important information such as taxes and so on.
Anyway, how is the boating in the area, is dock space hard to come by and are prices extremely high? How are the stores such as Publix, Home Depot and so on? How is the traffic, and are the people generally friendly?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
