Are there still a number of lighted boat parades this year....haven't read much about them. Lots of fun and a great outing on the various sloughs and waterways.

Right out of the December online Bay & Delta Yachtsman mag:
Marina West Yacht Club will sponsor their 34th annual lighted boat parade, Delta Reflections, on Saturday, Dec. 7. It will be led by the Port of Stockton fireboat Sunrise. The parade will start at 1700 hours at light 39 on the San Joaquin River. All boaters are invited to participate; there is a $25 registration fee that is donated to charity.
Contact Admiral Lynn Hahn at 209/477-7653 to register. You don't have to be a boater to enjoy the fun; you can watch the parade anywhere in the downtown channel/McLeod Lake area. This is the club's gift to the community.
Capital City Yacht Club will hold their parade on the Sacramento River on Dec. 7. You can contact them via e-mail at inforb2@gr5tccyc.net.
Discovery Bay Yacht Club will have their lighted boat parade on Saturday, Dec. 14. The theme is "'tis the season." Call Linda Loveland at 925/516-7286 or e-mail loveland3rb2@gr5tsbcglobal.net to make a reservation.
The Delta Loop Parade in Isleton is on Dec. 14. Call Korth's Pirate's Lair to register at 916/777-6464. They will award some cash prizes!
