Went for a swim today in Lake Barbara. Water temp was perfect, about 75 deg. Sun felt great while drying off on deck. Perfect boating day. On the way back to my dock and While waiting for bridge opening at Atlantic blvd bridge, I hear a familiar voice on the radio,"Rock & Roll", I respond asking for name of caller. The voice responds "Look astern".
Turn to see Capt Pascal on the Hatteras that he is delivering to Texas. First Boatered member that I have met up with on the water in a long time. I'm out of Pompano, Pascal is out of Miami,What are the chances of meeting. Great to see him again. I turned in to 14th street canal, Pascal continued on his long trip. God be with him.

Hey Joe!

it was good running into you this afternoon... i took some pic of your boat, i'll post them tomorrow!

Man I miss you guys......and boating. The Harley has been at my dock without moving for longer than I care to mention. The only diving I do is to clean the bottom. I have a line on a pair of running closed cooled 454s with gears I can afford which would get us back on the water, diving, grilling, and partying again. I just need to clean them up cosmetically -once I burn everything in my grage to make space ;-) and throw them in. The plan is then to take my time and get the 502's machined and rebuilt for more reliable HP.

Look forward to seeing the pictures - JMAS let me drive that beast one night....good times! Safe journey Pascal.
