I was just wondering where you can tie up around narragansett bay area to get a meal. we've been to the place in battleship cove, and we've been to one place in bristol. Any advise would be great to look forward to trying out this summer. Thanks.

Our marina in Portsmouth - New England Boatworks, aka: East Passage Yachting center, has a restaurant called the Sail Loft. Great food and grog - although not a T-shirt, sandals kinda place. Boats can tie-up free while visiting the restaurant/bar. Simply call NEB (VHF Ch9) in advance for directions to available transient slips, or pull into the fuel dock and speak with the attendant.

Other options we've used with dockage include: The West Deck in Newport with transient dockage at West Wind Marina, Goat Island Marina Grille in Newport, and Wickford Village, which has several nice restaurants with free dockage at the Town Docks. There are many more other boaters here may recommend.

In East Greenwich bay there are a few nice restaurants / bars / marinas. It has been years since I can't remember the names. The Blue Parrot, Harborside to name a few.

Try Tyler Point Grille, Barrington RI. Great food , Probably better if only adults.

I agree with others on the choices. Especially like Marina Grill at Goat Island.

All are good suggestions, I personally like J.G. Goffs in Bristol and Harborside in E. Greenwich. There is also a new one called The Boat House in Tiverton, RI. just before you enter the Sakonnet River. It is located in front of the big new condo development. It is more upscale than the others, but great food.
