My PS started to leak at the end of the season when the temp turned at about the 50 degree range and is still that way...it leaks about .5 ounce per one hour trip.
I noticed the rear engine transom bolt (on the starboard side) under the PS pressure unit, had a little pool of oil on it, etc...
However, feeling around the pressure unit and looking at the high pressure hoses shows no signs of leaking, so the only thing I can figure is that fluid is getting by the seals at the colder temps....
Also the fluid level of the pump is below the mark.
I had the Mercruiser PS/Trim fluid in it, so I figured I would replace it w/ the auto type w/ stop leak stuff in it.....
Any other ideas....(boat has about 250 hours on it).
