Help Again,
I have a 1979 120HP Merc I/O and it shifts very rough. I talked to a mechanic and he feels it is the motor cutout switch is incorrectly set? Apparently has the drive hits the shift point this swicht kills the motor to allow it to shift into forward or reverse.
He thinks it is a small problem but can't get to it for several weeks.
Does anyone know where this switch is and how it gets adjusted???
