Boat uses two 24MS Duracell flooded batteries.

One bears a little round sticker with "F5" which I believe is July 2015.

The other has no such sticker. Is there any information elsewhere on the battery to tell me how old it is?

On the top vertical edge there is a molded in code that should give you the mfg. date. Normally on the long side near one of the two the left corners.

I like Walmart batteries for our cars and the RV because there's a Walmart pretty much anywhere and probably open 24/7 if we need a replacement. I was ready to go get a new Walmart 24MS battery till I learned a few things:

1. The Duracell at Sam's Club has about 10% more capacity than Walmart's Everstart
2. Duracell is Maintenance Free
3. Till 25MAR2018 Sam's has an In-Store discount of $20 on several of their Marine Batteries. Makes the 24MS (and at least the 27MS as well) $40, not the standard $60 at both Sam's and Walmart.

The boat's always near home, with its Sam's Club nearby. Going Sam's/Duracell on this one. One-year warranty but have lasted at least three years.
