We're taking six 40' boats to Chestertown for lunch at the Imperial Hotel this Friday. Where can we tie up for a few hours, and how hard is it to find the available docks? Thanks!!

Chuck,

Try the little marina at the Fish Whistle just before the bridge. Its the only place to tie up. Otherwise you will need to anchor out but I know you guys don't carry dinks....then there is that Aircraft Carrier of a raft that you have ;). Lunch at the Imperial... nice!

(If it was Saturday I'd suggest you anchor in Still Pond. Then I could come out and get you and then drive you over to C-Town. That's about the only way I'd get lunch at the Imperial!!)

I knew about Chestertown Marina, I just wasn't sure what the deal would be if we didn't eat at their restaurant (Fish Whistle). I'll call anyway...

They accomodated us for a day-rate of 90 cents a foot. A bit more than I had hoped to pay, but OK. Brunch at the Imperial Hotel was first-rate. We had a party of 14, and they gave us a private room. The big hit was the make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Cool.

Good thing you didn't plan for the Sunday Morning Brunch!
Glad you enjoyed.

Actually, we were there Sunday from 11:30 to 1:30. The nice thing about a 55 mph cruise speed is that you CAN run from the weather...

C Spray,
We're you with the group in Still Pond on Saturday? We rode in on "Wet in a Good Way" (37 outer limits). Rode back on the Sundancer (only non-go fast in the tie up) to Great Oak.

Mike,
First time in Still Pond. It's beautiful back there. Where would your house be in relation to entering the pond. We went through a cut into the back. Must have been 20 go fasts tied up there.
Keith

Keith,

We're about a mile back down the creek from the cut, on the north side. There is water back there but you need to know the channel.
