This proves how observant I am. We have had this boat over a year and have run it every month and I have just noticed this green light. It has never come on so cannot figure out what in the world it could indicate when lit. It is labeled "stb fuel" All suggestion are appreciated

That is probably the forward bilge pump light. STB Fuel is the downward position of the above switch to check the starboard fuel level.

You should have 3 lights, one for each bilge pump and they should light up when switched on or when the float switch is kicked on.

I had 3 green lights on the panel for my 3807 but seems to me, they were on the other side of the panel from the fuel level switch.

That's the Stubborn Fuel light. No matter how much fuel you put in, the light stays on.

I have the same boat as yours. Mine was the first one built with diesels and i dont have that light on my instrument panel. How do you like the diesels? Any issues? i have about 1800 hrs on mine and love them. Would not have bought the boat with out them

Toronto, i love the boat and the diesels are great with this boat. I am going
to try an trace the wire to figure this out. the spare SW is not wired. Here is a better view.

That is a light added by a previous owner for something. Where the light is used to be a switch that would go either upwards, or downwards to activate the fuel gauges. They probably removed the switch when the gauges were changed since those are not the gauges that would have come with the boat. The STBD and the Port are in fact a remnant of the old fuel gauge switch.

Its funny to see what dealers and other owners have done, my spare switch is my bilge blower switch since my datamarine is located where the blower switch used to be (left of the helm wheel).

Tracing wires is your only option, it didn't come from Carver like that.

370 thanks again. I did not see the port label until you pointed it out.
you were spot on.
