There is s renaming ceremony that can be a lot of fun. I have to admit that I have renamed both of our boats without any ceremony and have not suffered any obvious bad luck.

Here's the ceremony for renaming your boat. I'm not particularly superstitious but, still, I would follow it if I were to rename my boat!

Well, Doug renamed the boat and has some sort of a leak----probably about the outdrive somewhere since that had been removed, worked on and reinstalled. He hasn't had time to figure it out yet...... Maybe he shouldn't have renamed that boat!!!!!

Renaming the boat gives you a real sense of identity with the boat...making it yours...and also provides a great excuse for a party!!

Many options out there - find what works best for you. Invite your friends, find a (human) virgin to pee in your bilge, and make the best of it. (Good luck finding a virgin in Sacto!!!)

If you need more friends for the ceremony, let us know. You can never have too many.
